Clarks – 65th Anniversary Desert Boots

Clarks Originals and their famous Desert Boots are celebrating its 65th anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion a special limited ‘Made in England’ edition. To pay homage to the iconic silhouette, it’s been hand-crafted as a true replica to the originals which sees them come together with the original Charles. F factory.

The anniversary shoes features Cordova velour suede uppers, orange stitching around the crepe sole and a premium leather runner board; all assembled within their Northampton factory. Each of the 1,950 shoes are hand-numbered and come with the additional of spare leather laces.

The release also sees them collaborate with TRiCKETT and a pair of knitted socks from Lancastrian cotton comes with the shoes. Illustrator Peter O’Toole has also produced some graphics for the package with completes a true ‘Made in England’ collaborative project.
