Ransom Autumn/Winter 2014 Collection
They may be more well know to some through their collaborations with adidas, but since developing their own in-house collections, Ransom have positioned themselves to innovate products to suit their consumers lifestyle. For Autumn/Winter, their collection draws on the mountain terrains and city environments of their Toronto origins to bring out a range and variation of footwear to get through the season.
This season’s selection from Ransom not only pushes the design boundaries, but also versatility, as they incorporate ballistic nylons, rubberised bull-denim and natural leather across all ranges. Continuing from their Spring/Summer collection, they’ve also introduced some new pieces with striking silhouettes.
The Field Lite is a standout model from Ransom this season. The low-top model features a fused synthetic upper, with a cushioned sole for optimum performance. The sock-like form of the shoe comes in a range of finishes and colours, making it a versatile option for its style and comfort.
Throughout their collaborations with Adidas, the shoes were recognised for superior production, premium materials and we’ll executed models. The Altar Mid mirrors everything of those pieces. The shoe is almost a cross between a traditional moccasin and casual sneaker. They feature a premium suede upper, EVA moulded soles and rubber inlays. All of which make it a stylish shoe that’ll remain comfortable while pounding those winter streets.
Styles also coming out throughout the season will include their Alpine Boot, Path Lite, St radar and Summit. All are constructed in high quality materials, and they’re finished so that they effortlessly fit within the consumer’s lifestyle. The AW14 collection can be purchased from the Ransom website and select worldwide stockists.
