To honor 25th anniversary of ZX 8000, adidas Originals decided to give us refreshed version of this timeless model. Originally intended limited release of 100 pairs with the tagline “Never to be sold to the public” was given to friends and family. Due to huge interest the shoe was brought back for a wider release, but still only available in extremely limited numbers.
Dropped worldwide on August 1st, the ZX Flux Weave is a perfect remix of classic OG colorway borrowed from ZX8000/ZX9000 from 1989 and modern woven upper created using a jacquard technique. Faithfully replicated Torsion unit and heel counter completed great execution of these three stripe classics.
Seamless construction provides maximum comfort and creates a unique look. Once again adidas is catching up to its major opponent Nike, this time by giving consumer alternative to Flyknits.
If you are saddened by extremely limited part don’t worry; even though shoe is now sold out in every store you can still find them on Ebay for quite affordable price. Good luck!
