Diadora x Hanon – B. Elite “The Spirit of ’83″
Over the past few season Italian sports brands Diadora has made a huge resurgence within the footwear market, breathing a new fresh approach with their heritage silhouettes and premium quality. After collaborating together for the N9000, Diadora and Aberdeen’s Hanon will join forces once again to present The Spirit of ’83.
The Spirit of ’83 is a tribute to Aberdeen Football Club and its finest moment in 1983. Paying tribute to AFC’s historic achievement, Hanon have worked with Diadora on a special edition Made in Italy sneaker. The B. Elite is a classic tennis shoe from the 1080’s that was famously worn by the great Bjorn Borg. Hand crafted at Diadora’s original factory in the small town of Caerano Di San Marco, the shoe features a premium upper of butter soft suede and kangaroo leather.
Working closely with the original Italian factory, Hanon were able to implement the same premium material treatments as Diadora once applied to their legendary court shoes and football boots during the 1980’s. Dual branding features throughout – embossed and printed on each back-tab and tongue, whilst the notorious Hanon “Keeps On Burning” fire emblem and 83 are positioned on opposing heels.
The Diadora x Hanon will release exclusively with at Hanon from 10th October and some select retailers in Japan and United States of America.
