FILA – Spring/Summer 2016 collection
Up until now, FILA had only presented one core ‘Vintage collection that paid homage to the iconic tennis aesthetics of the ’70s and ’80s. The throwback sportswear label now returns with their all-new “Vintage” SS16 collection, paying tribute to the brand’s longstanding tennis roots.
For the new spring/summer range, tennis continues to lend its design cues although this time around, the fashions of sailing and offshore racing of the same era also inspire the looks. Both of FILA’s main-line and “Black Label” division will make a presence next season, with the same strong sporting themes running through the ranges. The collections playfully integrate the oversized baggy trends of the ’90s with the figure-hugging athletic Lycra fabrics of the ’80s across both men and womenswear.
Look out for the collection to hit select retailers and FILA on-line from February and March 2016.
