Gosha Rubchinskiy – Autumn/Winter 2015
With this season’s Autumn/Winter collection from Gosha Rubchinsky starting to make a buzz for itself, Newcastle upon Tyne based END Clothing have put together a Lookbook to showcase some of the stand-out pieces. The Russian designer pays attention to streetwear obsessives and takes inspiration from the underground football and skateboarding cultures of Moscow.
It may not be a label that many are familiar with but it’s colourful, bold and ready to wear. Communicating experiences of his own adolescence, the collection features references to political links in his home country, mashed up with inspiration from 1980’s fashions of Milanese rich kids and the Russian football underground subcultures.
The range of sweats, t-shirts, jerseys and outerwear feature historical, political and athletics motifs from Russia and neighbouring China. Waistbands pulled up and socks tucked in to create a consistent silhouette, the designer’s new reiteration of the uniforms of his youth. There’s also a selection of denim to complete the collection.
The Autumn/Winter 2015 collection from Gosha Rubchinskiy can be view and purchased currently via END Clothing’s store and website.
