OFFSPRING x ASICS – Gel Lyte 5 “Cobbled Pack”

Back in 1996, Offspring set up shop in the cobbled streets of Covent Garden. Twenty years later, that little store has expanded into one of the UK’s biggest boutique chains and the crew are celebrating the milestone with an ASICS collab inspired by those very same cobbled streets.

Taking inspiration from the paving stones at this location, the UK retailer now presents a wonderful ASICS collab as a first of two shoes from the ‘Cobbled Pack’ to celebrate this milestone birthday. Beige-coloured suede and nubuck come together on the upper of the GEL-Lyte V in order to mimic the previously-mentioned cobble stone streets in front of Offspring. The lining pays homage to Offspring’s original colour palette from 1996, while the sockliner in turn features a bespoke cobble stone street pattern. Finally, both an ASICS stamp and Japanese symbol =+ (meaning 20) can be seen on the sock and lace tips.

Look for the new Offspring x ASICS GEL-Lyte V release to arrive in-store on March 25th
