Japanese sneaker store Atmos is must see place when visiting the country. Over the years they’ve released numerous exclusive PUMA shoes and they’ve gained a reputation for producing very bold and striking collaborations, with a mix of colours, materials and textures. Their forthcoming project sees them re-work the OG Disc Blaze, taking from The Sun & The Moon.
When the PUMA Disc Blaze made its introduction during the 1990’s it was a revolutionary shoe that was way ahead of its time. Not only did it combine their Trinomic cushioning system sole but it was also lace-less and was fastened/loosened by a rotating Disc. The Sun & The Moon Disc’s from Atmos continue from their 90’s origin with style and finishes for today’s consumer. The new design sees the shoe in a unique glow-in-the-dark black and purple upper, symbolizing the night sky, while the orange disc dial symbolizes the sun. All of this sits atop a dark grey speckled midsole and rounded off with hits of orange on the branding at the bottom of the midsole and on the heel.
The PUMA X Atmos “The Sun & The Moon” Disc Blaze’s will release on 28th February at Hanon, End Clothing & Footpatrol within the UK.
