PUMA x STAMP’D – Desert Storm R698
Los Angeles based menswear brand STAMP’D are well known for their monochrome colourways and this June will see them branch out as they bring their premium details to their collaboration with PUMA. The result is an impressive Desert Storm re-worked version of the R698 that will kick off a STAMP’D Athletics by PUMA collection.
Chris Stamp founded STAMP’D in 2011 and since then he’s gone on to make waves within the global streetwear scene and recently won GQ’s Magazine award for Best New Menswear Designer. The collaboration sees the utilisation of the classic R698 Trinomic silhouette in a simplified rendition. The shoe has a minimalistic finish, with clean lines, a combination of leather and nubuck, a layer of 3M detail and STAMP’D branding replacing the usual PUMA logos.
The PUMA x STAMP’D Desert Storm R698’s will release from 20th June at select retailers including END Clothing, Wellgosh and Oki-Ni.
