Ransom Holding Company was initially born as a clothing retailer that produced pieces which reflected their own unique tastes. With their roots in the outdoor environments, they’ve gone on to diversify their catalogue with a range of apparel and footwear. Their Spring 2015 collection sees them take cues from their retail background to break down the barriers between contemporary and outdoor footwear.
One of the key pieces for the season will be a new silhouette they’ve added to their arsenal of models. The Valley Lite is a model that can take the wearer from the terrains of mountain valley trails, to modern sculptured architectural buildings. With its ventilated air mesh construction and inner sock-liner it provides a new direction for Ransom, while staying true to their key roots.
This season will see the return of key piece such as the Field Lite and Alpine silhouettes. The Field Lite gets a series of mock-up’s in a selection of materials suited for warm weather journeys; including natural suede, marled knit and ventilated mesh. While the hiking Alpine boot will be available in hairy suede with a Lycra lining and Vibram® sole, both of which making them comfortable and resistance to harsh conditions.
The whole collection aims to provide a contemporary footwear solutions for consumers who live in city centres but push beyond & strive for outdoor escapes. Look for this collection at select retailers, including Autograph, Urban Outfitters, Choice, Footasylum in the UK and selected stores worldwide.
