Clae x Commonwealth – The Hoffam

Footwear manufacturer CLAE recently teamed up with US men’s lifestyle boutique Commonwealth to release a limited edition of their Hoffman sneaker. Merging CLAE’s West Coast roots with Commonwealth’s East Coast aesthetic, the new Hoffman brings together a mutual appreciation for understated details.

The shoes feature long-hair suede construction, with a neoprene inner collar, EVA foam outsole, and a vegetable-tanned leather heel. Adding to the aesthetics of the shoe is the neoprene inner collar, EVA-foam midsole and the vegtan leather placed on the heel. The shoe is said to be inspired by Commonwealth’s unofficial mascot, co-founder Omar Quiambao’s French Bulldog, Lola. Each pair comes with a limited edition tote bag that was designed exclusively for the collab.

Only 250 pairs of the Commonwealth X CLAE The Hoffman will be released on December 21st at Commonwealth and selected retailers.
