Le Coq Sportif x Footpatrol – R800 “Artisan”

Le Coq Sportif x Footpatrol – R800 “Artisan”

Since introducing the ‘Made in France’ footwear program at the start of 2015, Le Coq Sportif began working with a small factory called Cléon, in a small village named La Romagne. This December sees Footpatrol’s final collaboration for 2015, teaming up with French Sportswear brand Le Coq Sportif for a third time on this special ‘Made in France’ edition of the R800.

Originally released in 1991 and featuring Le Coq Sportif’s infamous Dynactif energy return system. Having the opportunity in creating a shoe made in France, Footpatrol wanted to pay tribute the skilled craftsmen/craftswomen who continue to keep a dwindling practice in Western Europe alive.

The collaboration uses the R800 silhouette as the canvas which hosts quality material like perforated leather. Its “Artisan” theme plays into its presentation as its delivered within a wooden box along with wooden shoetrees and shoe cream. Additionally, you’ll also find a shoe brush and a buffing cloth for premium upkeep.

The Le Coq Sportif x Footpatrol Made in France R800 “Artisan” is due to release ‘EXCLUSIVELY’ at Footpatrol on Friday 18th December.
