PUMA Oslo – City
ART NUMBER: 165
MADE ON:
MADE IN: WEST GERMANY
FACTORY:
There are numerous shoes from PUMA’s past that haven’t been seen since the 1970’s and 80’s. One of those models is the Oslo-City. Even though they haven’t been made for approximately 40 years, for the time that they were in manufacture, numerous mock-up’s and version were produced. Following on from the White/Black version recently featured, here is a further to feast over.
Their form and shape is virtually identical to that pair, but their finer details differ. This pair has a thin leather tongue which shows its place of manufacture as Made in West Germany. Just like the previous pair it has a contact sole, but this time its rubber and with a navy outer sole.
The shoe has a very clean and simple appearance with a smooth leather navy upper and contrasting white formstripe and off-white laces. Like several other PUMA shoes released during the 1970’s, they’re stamped with the 5 Olympic Rings on the side.
With at least three different know version of the Oslo-City, one can only imagine if there could possibly be more variations waiting to be discovered.
