Since introducing their lightweight knitted upper PrimeKnit, adidas Originals have applied it to various models including the Stan Smith and Ultra Boost. As the Superstar celebrates its 45th anniversary, it also gets the PrimeKnit treatment courtesy of a Consortium release.

Utilising the Primeknit technology; its pairing with the Consortium 80’s Superstar creates a modern rendition of a true classic. While the essence of the shoe remains true to the 1980’s original, the Primeknit material upper offers high breathability with the addition of moisture wicking capabilities as well as significantly reducing the overall weight of the shoe.

The colours are kept to the classic combination of Black/White and White/Black. Another nod to the Superstar’s heritage can be found in the old-school tongue logo which is set in gold on black and black on white.

The adidas Consortium PrimeKnit Superstars will be available at select stocks from 1st August including END Clothing.
